Donald Duck soft drinks were the first sodas to be produced by
General Beverages, Inc. of Chattanooga, Tennessee. They were
licensed by the Double Cola Company to produce the Donald
Duck line. These fruit flavored sodas were introduced in the
1940s and included flavors such as Lemon Lime, Grape,
Orange, Strawberry, Black Cherry, Root Beer, Cola and Ginger
Ale. Donald Duck Soda was released in both bottles and cone-
top cans, and later, punch-tab cans. The brand was
discontinued in the late 1950s.

Ray got this bottle with the cap because he was born in
Chattanooga, TN. in 1952. The cola was made in 1952 at the
Double Cola plant. So the bottle in now 65 years old. Here on
Dapper Day we had people pose with the bottle. I would like to
get more pictures of people holding the bottle when we can.
